Girlfriends of the Airport. Girlfriends of the Airport is a volunteer support group helping to market the airport and produce events which support the airport and the Grand Lake Area Community.
Mission: To promote the South Grand Lake Regional Airport through
Marketing and Events to benefit the Grand Lake Area Community.

War Birds will be available for public viewing at the airport prior to The Duck Creek Fly Over and Firework Show. $5 per car entry donation. Donations apply to paving airport entry road. Food, water, beverages and kid stuff will be hosted by the Girlfriends of the Airport. Request flyer or information, info@southgrandlakeairport.com.

South Grand Lake Chamber’s 24nd annual event will include cooking teams competing for Best Fish, Hush Puppies, and Coleslaw. Tasting kits will be provided and public voting will determine the winners for each category. There will be live music, vendors and activities for kids. Chamber www.grandlakechamber.org. Public invited to participate with a float. 5:30 Parade line up West end of Ketchum. 6:30 Parade starts. 7:00 Ketchum High School Commons Area: Candy, Cookies, and Hot Chocolate for both Big and Little Kids. Judges Choice parade award $700.00. Additional parade trophies. Donate $1.00 for prize tickets: Big Screen and additional TV’s, Bicycles, and Gift Cards. Warbirds
July 4: Fly-in-Event “War Birds” The July 4, 2014 turnout of 1200 or more locals and weekenders to view the Warbirds, enjoy WW II airplane rides, food, beverage and kid stuff was beyond our expectations. Cars began arriving around 9:00 am. Come and go traffic continued until the Warbirds took off for the Duck Creek Flyover. Warbird photos
