South Grand Lake Regional Airport at Ketchum is offering an opportunity to experience the thrill of flight on Saturday August 25th beginning at 8:00 AM. The aerial tour will be a leisurely flight that passes by Pensacola Dam heading north past Disney, Dripping Springs and over Duck Creek. This is a great opportunity to introduce a young person to aviation or surprise a loved one with a fun activity.
The Charges are $20 for 16 and under $40 for all others. Purchase tickets at the airport, 448500 East 330 Rd. Ketchum, the day of the event.
You wonder what we do with the money we raise from fund raisers and any and all activities we may charge a fee…well here you have our latest improvement. That bumpy old dirt road entering the airport is now paved and a nice ride. Thank you to all that has helped us accomplish this. July 4, 2018 – approximately 1,000 spectators visited the airport this year to have an unclose experience with the war birds and watch them take off for the flyover on Duck Creek.
